Leading high-street retailer Marks & Spencer is hoping to use RFID (radio frequency identification) tags across its network of stores following the success of a pilot supply management scheme.
The company has confirmed that it plans to increase the use of the high-tech supply chain management technology from 42 stores to almost 450 in order to ensure efficiency across its retail operations, reports ComputerWeekly.com.
